HELLO!
I'm Terri Hayes
Life Coach
You’re trying to be more patient, more present—but somehow, connection still feels out of reach, and you can’t figure out what you’re doing wrong.
Maybe it’s a partner, a parent, a child—or your relationship with yourself. You care deeply. You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, had the conversations. But you still find yourself walking on eggshells, feeling misunderstood, or stuck in old patterns—like no matter how hard you try, something gets lost in translation.
You don’t need a new personality. You just need new tools—and a little guidance to apply them.
You want to be present, calm, and connected.
I know that place. I lived there for a while.
When I first started coaching, I was looking for tools to help with the people who were “driving me crazy.” Turns out, I needed tools for me. What I found was far more life-changing than I expected.
I stopped “shoulding” on myself. I realized how much energy I was spending trying to control what I couldn’t—and how often I was outsourcing my peace and overthinking every interaction. And slowly—but powerfully—I began making small shifts that added up to real change.
Now, my relationships are more connected—not because everyone else changed, but because I did. I’m more grounded. Less reactive. Less ruled by the inner critic. I trust myself. I make decisions without spiraling or seeking permission. And when things don’t go as planned, I pivot instead of punishing myself.
I no longer feel the pressure to manage everything and everyone. There’s so much more peace in letting go of what’s not mine to carry.
It’s not perfect. But it’s so much better.
That’s what I help my clients do, too. Because better relationships are within reach for everyone. They may not be perfect—but better is better.
Knowing what to do—and actually doing it? Two very different things: Information isn’t transformation. Learning builds awareness—but it’s consistent, intentional action that creates lasting change.
If you’re looking for a coach who balances deep work with a lighthearted approach—someone who will challenge you, cheer you on, and help you move forward without all the overthinking, in small and simple ways—we should talk.
